Non-pivoting roll handler for inside core gripping and transfer of rolls while stacked vertically. Gripping action provided by a steel mandrel gripper tooled with a saw-toothed pattern. The gripper drops into the roll core and expands via pneumatic actuation to provide a reliable i.d. core grip of the roll, allowing for effortless transfer of the load with zero damage to the product.

Both models come complete with a downstroke overload safety module to prevent topside crushing of the roll upon tool deployment , as well as a load release safety module which prevents accidental release of the load while in transfer.

CORE-GRIP ROLL HANDLER, PIVOTING
Pivoting roll handler for inside core gripping, transfer, and repositioning of rolls from vertical to horizontal position and vice versa. Just as with the non-pivoting model, the pivoting roll handler can be mounted onto our EHMP Manipulator, or intergrated with any existing rail or crane system.
The pivoting action is actuated via a secondary pneumatic cylinder integrated into the tooling. The gripping action is provided by a steel mandrel gripper tooled with a saw-toothed pattern, akin to the non-pivoting model.
